So if you're reading this, then I'm guessing that you want to know something about me. I am Emma, though I tend to use the name Silver online. Long time fantasy writer and devoted gamer. My very close friends have described me as 'slightly obsessive', 'completely insane', a 'daydreamer', complete with a 'twisted sense of humour'. You have been warned! I tend to live in my own world a lot of the time. I’m an honest person and I hate people who aren’t. I am open-minded, non-judgemental, usually a tolerant person, and very hard to shock. I can't promise to necessarily understand your views, but I will respect them as long as you respect mine in return.

I am in a great relationship with my boyfriend, Dave, and a proud mum to Cory - my German Shepherd dog. I adore the both of them.

I am a survivor of rape and abuse. I suffer from manic depression, post traumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorder. I get unpredictable mood swings, nightmares, irrational fear and panic attacks, but I refuse to take medication and am slowly learning to deal with things as they come. I’m very wary of people, in particular groups of teenagers and men. I generally terrible at communicating with people in general. I'm also a self-harmer in recovery. I refuse to censor myself here, and so most of my entries are locked (and can be pretty dark).

I write most things - short stories, the odd bit of poetry, and I am currently working on a novel. Most of my writing tends to be fairly dark and deals with sensitive subjects. I write fanfiction on occasion, though less than I used to - my main fandom is Baldur's Gate. Sometimes I post my short stories and poetry here. Constructive criticism on my writing is always appreciated. Oh, and I also enjoy writing about sex. I have an active imagination, and I try to put it to good use.

Journal rules: I use this journal to communicate with people I consider friends and to work through the various issues I have - therefore nearly all of my posts are locked. As far as adding people goes - I ask that you be over 18, because sometimes my posts contain content that is only suitable for adults. We won't get along if you are racist, homophobic, very judgemental, have problems respecting the opinions of others, or wish to cause any drama. I don't expect anyone to comment on all my entries, especially since I am terrible at commenting myself, but it would be nice to get a comment once in a while so that I know who is reading. I think it goes without saying that I expect everything I post in here to stay in here.
